| I don't consider myself an artist, I just occasionally snap a relatively good photo. My gallery has some of those and the rest mostly have some personal meaning to me, which i try to show through names of the submissions. And i tend to change them from time to time, or edit descriptions when i manage to think of a better way to present what i intended. I feel deeply connected to the world... nature. Its a big part of my existence. Its fused with what ive been through, what i felt, saw, my memories, past and present and i feel the need to express that. In a way, to make you see what i have seen. You are looking at my part of the world here, both metaphorically and realistically. Still, it doesnt mean that you cannot enjoy them in your own way or see in them something that has meaning to you. I wish you would. True artists are elsewhere on this site and i collected many in my Favorites gallery. Please check those out because they are more then worth your time. Especially if you are new to Deviantart and are somewhat lost in these millions of names and pieces of art. Its a good starting point. I am regularly amazed by their work and they are the biggest reason im here. So far there is only one drawing i made presented here and quite possibly only one for some time. I wish i could be as half as good as these amazing artists whose works i adore but i doubt i will ever get there. Still, even if I cannot draw anymore Im learning from them just by exposing myself to their brilliance. Same goes for photography artists. |

And "the Guardian" is superb.
Very good piece. I like the atmosphere of the whole and the way you show the soldier. Hurting himself, in a way. Carrying arows in his own back. At least thats the way i see it. Very nice.
